Emergency services were called to Sutton Station after witnesses said they saw a man threatening to jump yesterday afternoon.
Officers and London Ambulance Service were called to the railway station at around 3.44 pm on Wednesday, January 28.
Police have since confirmed the individual is now safe.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an incident at Sutton Station.
"We sent an ambulance crew, who were at the scene in under five minutes.
"They took a person to hospital."
