Sutton Council will hold its second virtual question and answer session about the coronavirus vaccine next week.
A panel of experts will respond to residents’ questions and address vaccine misinformation on Tuesday, February 23.
Councillor Ruth Dombey said: “The vaccine roll out programme has made great strides with over 238,000 people vaccinated across South West London already.
“However, we are aware of a certain amount of misinformation around the vaccine circulating on social media.
“We want to ensure that Sutton residents are well informed about the vaccine and have the opportunity to speak to experts about any concerns they might have.”
There are limited places available for the session, which can be booked on the Council’s website.
Participants will be able to ask questions live using the ‘chat’ function, but will also be able to send questions in advance using this form here.
Following the question and answer session, the council will add the most frequently asked questions and answers to the Covid pages on the website.
Further information about the vaccine can be found here.
The event will take place on Tuesday, February 23 at 5:30pm and is open to all residents.
