A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Thornton Heath this morning (Saturday, March 6), police in the area have confirmed.
The stabbing occurred at dawn, in the moments before 6.55am, when officers in the area were called to a home on Elliot Road.
Police said the victim, a man thought to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital after being stabbed.

While at the property they arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
In a short statement about the stabbing posted to Twitter Saturday morning, a spokesperson for Thornton Heath Police said:
"#ARREST | Officers are at the scene of a stabbing at a residential property in Elliott Road, #ThorntonHeath.
"We were called at 06:55hrs today. A man in his 20s was taken to hospital.
"A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Enquiries are ongoing."
The stabbing is the latest in a number of such incidents to happen in Croydon borough recently.
On Wednesday, a 19-year-old boy named as Tai Jordan O'Donnell sadly passed away after he was stabbed on Alpha Road in Croydon.
A 22-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder over that incident.
