A man in his 40s has been hospitalised with head injuries following an assault in Worcester Park.
Emergency services were called to Central Road in the early hours of Sunday morning ( June 20).
A police cordon was pictured by an alleyway in between Poundland and Nefis Kebab on Central Road.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance told Your Local Guardian: "We were called at 1am on Sunday 20 June to reports of a person injured on Central Road, Worcester Park.
"We sent an ambulance crew, who treated a man at the scene and took him to a hospital."
A spokesperson for Met Police told Your Local Guardian: "Officers are investigating an assault alleged to have taken place near Central Road.
"A man, aged in his 40s, suffered head and facial injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains.
"Enquiries remain ongoing, no arrests have been made."
