Crystal Palace chief Neil Warnock has dropped the biggest hint yet that Clinton Morrison will be offered a new Eagles deal.
Morrison is out of contract in the summer and in light of his current sensational form, many clubs, including Norwich City, will be hoping to bag the hotshot striker on a free transfer.
The Republic of Ireland international claimed he would "probably sign" a contract if offered one by the club - and Warnock, who up until now had remained coy on Morrison's situation, says a new Eagles deal for the striker is in the pipeline.
"Clinton will always have a contract while I'm manager - but we haven't got round to talking yet because that's not a vital necessity for me.
"I don't want him to think that there would not be a contract because there will always be one for him."
