A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in Lambeth last night (July 5).
A murder investigation has been launched into the incident, which took place in Vauxhall at around 11:45pm.
Met Police said they were called to a teenager stabbed in Oval Place, SW8 on July 5.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service, and a 16-year-old male was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy’s next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers. Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
There has been no arrest at this early stage.

The news follows another tragic incident in south London on the same night after a 15-year-old schoolboy was fatally wounded in a stabbing in Woolwich.
