A public appeal has been launched after a 14-year-old girl from Croydon was reported missing.
14-year-old Makeda has been missing from her home in Croydon "since July", police said, prompting a widening search to help find her.
Police said she was described as "slim build, around 5 ft 3 tall with black hair".
In a tweet urging anyone with information to assist them in their attempts to find her, a spokesperson for the Met Police in Croydon wrote:
"Please help us find 14 yr old Makeda, who has been #missing from her home in Croydon since July. Makeda is slim build, around 5ft 3 tall with black hair, last wearing pink shorts, a grey top and a black hoody. If you have any information please call 101 quoting CAD ref 6938/11JUL."
