A teenager has been taken to hospital after he was found with a "slash wound to the face".
Police were called to Lodge Lane following reports of a stabbing at around 4.45pm on Thursday.
Officers found a 16-year-old male with a slash wound to the face.
London Ambulance Service paramedics took him to hospital.
Police searched the area and two males were arrested nearby.
The teen's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident, but anyone with information is asked to call 101 with reference 5202/12AUG.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "At 16:46hrs on Thursday, 12 August, police were called to Lodge Lane, New Addington following reports of a stabbing.
"Officers attended and found a 16-year-old male with a slash wound to the face.
"London Ambulance Service paramedics attended and the male was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. A search of the area was conducted and two males were arrested nearby.
Officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101, providing the reference 5202/12AUG.
"Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
