There are "long delays" and miles of congestion on the M25 this afternoon (Thursday) following a crash.
Highways south east England said that there are delays of around 50 minutes and that there is eight miles of congestion.
This is between junction 8 and 9 anti-clockwise following a collision.
Traffic was been stopped while the vehicles involved were moved to the hard shoulder - but all four lanes are now open.
Traffic released on #M25 J9-J8 anti-clockwise in all 4 lanes following the earlier collision. There remains long delays of 50 mins and approximately 8 miles of congestion from this incident. Due to the time of day and volume of traffic it'll take time for these delays to clear.
