Police in Epsom are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a mother and her two young sons yesterday (Wednesday, August 25).
The incident happened on Roy Richmond Lane in Epsom around 9am on Wednesday morning.
According to the police witness appeal, it involved the male suspect "emerging from the bushes as the victims walked by and expos(ing) himself".
The incident is the latest in a number of sex-related crimes involving men reported in Epsom in recent months.
In one of the latest such incidents, a 22-year-old man from Epsom was charged with sexual assault and breaching the conditions of his Sexual Risk Order after he reportedly "grabbed and dragged from behind" on Epsom Common on June 30.
In response to the incident on Wednesday, meanwhile, police offered a description of the man they were now searching for as the primary suspect.
They said he was described as a "Black male, around 40 years old, of large build, with black hair and wearing a khaki stripped t-shirt".
"We are asking anyone in the area with CCTV installed at home or anyone who was driving nearby and may have dashcam footage, to please check for anyone matching this description, or seen behaving strangely," a Surrey Police spokesperson added.
