A man and a child have been taken to hospital after a car and pedestrian collided this morning (Tuesday) in Croydon.
Ambulance crews and police attended the scene in Thornton Road at around 11.30am.
A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital in an ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.
A three-year-old was also taken to hospital as a "precaution".
The driver stopped at the scene and the road was temorarily closed.
There have been no arrests.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 11:31hrs on Tuesday, 14 September to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian on Thornton Road in Croydon.
“Officers attended. A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital by the LAS with non life-threatening injuries. A three-year-old child was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
“The driver stopped at the scene.
“The road was temporarily closed to traffic.
“There have been no arrests.”
