The family of a man missing from a mental health hospital in Roehampton are appealing for help in the search to find him.
Ben Kirkham, 45, was reported missing from a hospital in Roehampton on Monday morning, September 20.
Since then, several of his family members have journeyed from Manchester to London to help in the search for Ben, who suffers from schizophrenia and was described as "extremely vulnerable".
One of them, Ben's brother Will, spoke with the Surrey Comet as the search for him continued.
"He's only got his t-shirt on, a white t-shirt with blue jeans and blue trainers. We came down on Wednesday night from Manchester, and were told there was a potential sighting in Tolworth on Tuesday on Hamilton Avenue, fitting Ben's description."
"He's been missing before but only for a few hours... he's never been this long," Will said.
He added that Ben was a heavy smoker and a large build.
"To only have a t-shirt on and spend the night God knows where...he must be getting tired now," Will said.
