Police are continuing to appeal for information six days after a 15-year-old was stabbed in Croydon last week.
The stabbing happened on Tuesday (September 21) sometime before 4.30pm, around the time police were called to the scene on Church Street.
Eye-witnesses reported a heavy emergency services presence, with an air ambulance landing in the area to assist with first responders.
A spokesperson for the Met Police, who continue to appeal for information about the stabbing, told the Croydon Guardian:
"Police were called shortly before 16.30hrs on Tuesday, 21 September to Church Street, Croydon following reports of a stabbing.
"Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab injuries.
"His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing."
Six days on from the stabbing, no arrests have been made and police are appealing to the public for help in their investigation:
"Enquiries are ongoing and there have been no arrests.
"Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 and quote reference 5260/21Sept.
