Belmont station has been closed this morning due to flooding after heavy rain fell through the night.
No trains are running in either direction to or through the station until "further notice" according to Southern Rail.
Belmont station is in between Sutton and Cheam, and leads Sutton station to Epsom station as well.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for rain from 12am on Sunday to 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
It said flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely, bus and train services will probably affected with journey times taking longer and spray and flooding on roads will probably make journey times longer.
