A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a serious crash in Streatham.
Police were called at around 4.15am on Friday to the crash in Streatham High Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man, was taken to a south London hospital.
His injuries are life-threatening.
The man's family have been informed.
There has been no arrest.
Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances.
Any witnesses who are yet to speak with police or anyone with dashcam footage that may assist are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Catford on 020 8285 1574.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a motorcycle in Streatham.
"Officers were called at approximately 04:17hrs on Friday, 10 December, to the collision in Streatham High Road, SW16.
"The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man, was taken to a south London hospital.
"His injuries have been assessed as life-threatening.
"The man’s family have been informed.
"There has been no arrest.
"Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances.
"Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Catford are investigating this matter.
"Any witnesses who are yet to speak with police or anyone with dashcam footage that may assist are asked to contact them on 020 8285 1574."
