PALACE had a busier transfer window than might have been first thought.
The Eagles completed eight deals in total with six players leaving the club and two players joining the club on permanent deals.
Despite incomings being quiet for the majority of the window the headline signing was making striker Jean-Philippe Mateta's loan deal being made permanent on deadline day.
The striker was thought to be on his way out of the club but a recent upturn in fortunes has convinced the club to make him a full-time Palace player.
Patrick Vieira also brought in promising striker Luke Plange from Derby County on deadline day.
The 19-year-old will spend the rest of the season on loan with Wayne Rooney's Championship side to continue his development.
Palace also loaned out Jake O’Brien to Swindon and Rob Street to Newport County.
Permanent sales include Olle Webber to Portsmouth and Jay Rich-Baghuelou to Accrington Stanley.
