A man has been fined £1,300 for arriving at Heathrow airport with no Covid passenger locator form.
Yakub Abdalla arrived in England from Nairobi on February 23, 2021.
The 61-year-old failed to provide passenger information “without a reasonable excuse”.
Abdalla, of Etna Road in Bury St. Edmunds, was found guilty for the offence at Greater Manchester Magistrates’ Court on January 31, 2022.
He was fined an initial £1,100 for the offence, an extra £110 to fund victim services and £90 for the costs of the Crown Prosecution Service.
He was given until Feburary 28 to pay the fine.
