A balcony on the sixth floor of a flat has been destroyed by a fire in Croydon.
Firefighters were called to the scene in Newgate yesterday (March 28) shortly before 10pm.
The Brigade tackled the fire in a residential block where the balcony of a flat was destroyed.
Around 30 people left the building before the arrival of the Brigade.

There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire was under control by 10.50pm.
Fire crews from Croydon, Woodside, Norbury and West Norwood fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Newgate in Croydon.
“A balcony belonging to a flat on the sixth floor of a residential block was destroyed by fire.
“Around 30 people left the building before the Brigade arrived.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 9.59pm and the fire was under control by 10.50pm.
“Fire crews from Croydon, Woodside, Norbury and West Norwood fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
