2001 - A paraglider from Breganz, Austria, survives a 4,500 foot fall unhurt. He then slips over while picking up his glider and breaks his shoulder.
2004 - A US newspaper claims that diet pioneer Dr Robert Atkins had been clinically obese when he died.
