Banstead-born comedian David Walliams had a cheeky swipe at Beckham for missing a charity bash he was due to host.
Walliams and his Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas had a pop at the footballing hero after he failed to turn up at a star-studied event in aid of a Cystic Fibrosis charity.
Other stars including Sir Elton John, singer and former Neighbours actress Natalie Imbruglia and Peter Crouch made it to the event which raised more than £1million for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
But Beckham, who was left out of Fabio Capello's England first squad, could not make it to the gala and instead reportedly sent a video message to apologise for his absence.
Dressed as his character Lou, Walliams remarked: "It's a shame Becks can't be here tonight," to which partner Matt Lucus as Andy said: "Don't like him. I like Crouch."
