The Duchess of York has reportedly moved in with Prince Andrew following a blaze at her Englefield Green home last week.

Firefighters were called to Dolphin House, near Egham, after a bathroom fire caused by a scented candle.

Andrew, 47, is said to have invited Sarah, 48, to stay at his Windsor home Royal Lodge temporarily while workmen repair more than £20,000 worth of damage.

A source told The Sun: "It's been a long time since they shared a home together, but it seems the events of last week have caused the unthinkable to happen.

"The fire in her bathroom has left her home stinking of smoke and it may take six weeks to put things right."

Fergie is expected to stay for two weeks - before they take daughters Beatrice, 19, and Eugenie, 17, skiing in Switzerland.

The duchess moved to Englefield Green last year after the sale of the former family home at Sunninghill Park.
