Former Radio 1 DJ Kevin Greening died after being hung upside down in a studded bondage harness, a national newspaper has claimed.
When announcing Mr Greening's death, his agent said the 44-year-old had died peacefully in his sleep.
But The Sun has reported that shocking pictures from the scene of his death at a Battersea flat will be shown at an inquest later this year.
It is thought the presenter suffered a heart attack after taking stimulants during an S&M session the night before his 45th birthday.
Sources told the newspaper that medics found his naked body in a bedroom converted into an S&M dungeon containing a leather harness, knee-high boots and a scaffolding structure from which hung meat-hooks and chains.
Rolls of black industrial tape, S&M boxing gloves and nipple clamps were also found.
A man is on bail after tests showed Greening may have taken a cocktail of drugs.
