The man accused of murdering Sally Anne Bowman said he had sex with her corpse - but did not kill her.
The court was told Sally Anne had been repeated stabbed in the abdomen and neck in such a savage attack the weapon had passed through her body.
Prosecutor Brian Altman told the court Sally Anne had returned from a night out in Croydon with one of her four sisters early on September 25.
She had been dropped off by her boyfriend after they had an argument in his dad's car.
He said Sally Anne's body had been found from by a woman living in Blenheim Crescent who looked out her window on the morning on September 25, 2005, and saw what appeared to be a pair of legs poking out from behind a skip.
"It was a gruesome discovery that led to a massive police operation," Mr Altman said.
He added: "Sally Anne had been savagely and brutally murdered. Sally Anne's murder was motivated by sex.
"Sexual intercourse had taken place with Sally Anne. She had been sexually violated as she lay dead or dying.
"Semen from swabs of her vagina and her anus match his (Dixie's) profile."
Mr Altman said as well as the stab wounds, bite marks had been found on Sally Anne's neck and right nipple.
"Dixie confesses he had sex with Sally Anne and he had sex with Sally Anne after her death," Mr Altman said.
Mr Altman said Dixie used drugs recreationally, including cannabis and crack.
He said one of the chef's former girlfriends said he was known to get a bit "rough" during sex after taking drugs, including biting her on the neck.
The jury were handed a bundle of photos and documents at the start of today's proceedings that Mr Altman warned could be disturbing.
But he said Dixie's defence that he had had sex but not killed Sally Anne made it necessary.
"There are other indignities I will have to tell you of later," Mr Altman said.
"I am not going to be able to spare you the details of Sally Anne's death."
Mr Altman said Sally Anne had graduated from the Brit School and was studying hairdressing at Carshalton College but wanted to be a model.
She had returned from a week away in Kos, Greece, marking her 18th birthday, shortly before she was killed.
Before heading out that night, the last words Sally Anne told her mum were "Love you, thanks for letting me stay".
