A 22-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Thornton Heath.
The man was found injured in Beulah Road shortly before 2.40pm today (June 20).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended.
He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
Officers await an update on his condition.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 101 and quote reference 4116/20JUN.
Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At 14:38hrs on Monday, 20 June police were called to reports of a stabbing in Beulah Road, Thornton Heath.
“Officers attended with London Ambulance Service paramedics.
“A male, believed to be aged 22, was found with stab wounds and was taken to a south London hospital.
“We await an update on his condition.
“Anyone with information about the incident who has not yet spoken to police should call 101 with the reference 4116/20JUN.
“Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
