Crooks used tools stolen from garden sheds to carry out a series of burglaries in Sutton over the weekend.
A spade, trowel and screwdriver were used to prise open windows and doors in three burglaries in Hillview Road, William Road and Gassiot Way, between February 1 and 3.
Items taken included laptop computers, electronic games, photographic equipment, jewellery, alcohol and tobacco.
Sutton Crime Prevention Officer Pat Simcox recommended tools be locked securely in sheds or garages.
