A huge knife has been found after police searched a suspicious male in west Croydon.
Police were on patrol last weekend during the early hours when they saw a suspicious male.
Officers detained the man who was allegedly carrying a huge knife.
The weapon was seized by Croydon Police, who say they are continuing their drive to reduce violence in the area.
Croydon Police tweeted: “Violence Suppression Unit Team 2 were on proactive patrols last weekend in the early hours as part of their continued drive to suppress violence in Croydon, they got sight of a suspicious male in west Croydon.
“One male was detained and one knife off the street.
“#ResponsePolicing”
