Around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire in Winterbourne Road in Thornton Heath today.
Four fire engines were called to the scene at 12.14pm after a loft conversion caught on fire.
The fire was under control by 1.09pm and there are no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in a house in Winterbourne Road, Thornton Heath.
“Half of a loft conversion was damaged by fire.
“There are no reports of any injuries. “The Brigade was called at 1214 and the fire was under control by 1309.
“Fire crews from Norbury, Croydon, West Norwood and Woodside stations are at the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
