Two teens aged 17 and 19 have been arrested for attempted murder over a sword attack in Cheam on New Year's Day that left a 19-year-old man with 'life changing' injuries.
The victim, who has not been identified, was making his way to a friend's house after attending a New Year's Eve party when he was attacked around 6am.
He was found collapsed by an off-duty police officer suffering from injuries to his head and neck in Belmont Rise at the junction with Hillside Road.
