A Wireless Festival go-er claims she has had her head “smashed in” after a rapper threw a phone into the crowd at Wireless Festival.

A TikTok video shows phones being thrown onto the stage before it appears that Lil Uzi Vert throws a phone up into the air at the festival on Friday.

The event at Crystal Palace Park was the first of three Wireless Festivals in the UK, from July 1 to July 3.

A TikTok video, uploaded by @swagboilucas, shows Lil Uzi Vert launching what looks to be a phone high into the crowd after two devices appear to have been tossed onto the stage.

The camera then pans to a man who looks shocked with the subtitle “I just lost my phone.”

The video's on-screen caption reads: “pov: you found the person who lost their phone to Uzi.”

Another TikTok video, uploaded by @ccornonmycob, shows the back of a head covered in what appears to be blood.

The user claims that this is her head covered in blood because a phone thrown by Lil Uzi Vert hit her.

She says in the video: “I am sadly that chick that got her head smashed in by the phone.

“There was someone else, but I don’t really want to mention him in case it is not permitted but yes there was some damage caused.”

She continues: “The guy got his phone back and everything is being dealt with.

“For those who are asking why I didn’t move out the way, if you have been to Wireless Festival before, you will know how packed the crowd is.

“There isn’t space to move and even if there was, I think the reaction time of the phone landing wouldn’t have been enough to actually move out of the way in time.

“Even if I did it would have hit someone either way, it would have not hit the floor first.

“It was head to head.”

This clip currently has more than 1.2 million likes on TikTok.

Many of the comments express anger about the incident, with one saying: “These performers need to do better.

“And to get them to change you gotta hit them where it hurts, their pockets.

“This was a blatant disregard of safety.”

Another reads: “It could have killed you.”

Wireless Festival and Lil Uzi Vert’s management have been approached for comment.
