Crystal Palace teenager John Bostock played a starring role as England's U17 side swept to victory in The Algarve Tournament in Portugal, writes Simon Fitzjohn.
16-year-old Bostock made a strong impression as the Three Lions defeated Denmark and France en route to a deciding match with the hosts.
And the Palace speedster, who made his debut for the Eagles against Wolves earlier this season, had a starting berth as England drew 0-0 with Portugal to secure triumph in the round-robin tournament.
