Firefighters from Wandsworth took part in the massive effort to quell a blaze that swept through Camden market last night.
Staff from Clapham and Battersea fire stations were among 100 firefighters who attended the incident.
The five Clapham firefighters arrived at 9pm, and were on the scene until 4am today.
The blaze began at about 7.20pm yesterday, causing severe damage to some of the market's storage buildings as well as to the Hawley Arms, a nightspot famed for its popularity among celebrities such as Amy Winehouse.
Local residents were evacuated from their homes, roads were closed off, and train services passing through Camden Town were suspended.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
