1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate footway and kerb works they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements in Brafferton Road, Bramley Hill, Dering Road, Keens Road, Parker Road, St. Andrew's Road, Southbridge Road and Tanfield Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along the public footways in:-
(a) Brafferton Road, from its junction with Southbridge Road south-westward for a distance of 10.00 metres;
(b) Bramley Hill, from its junctions with Southbridge Road and Tanfield Road southward for 10.00 metres;
(c) Dering Road, from both its junctions with Southbridge Road south-westward for a distance of 10.00 metres;
(d) Keens Road, from its junction with Southbridge Road north-eastward for a distance of 10.00 metres;
(e) Parker Road, from its junction with Southbridge Road north-eastward for a distance of 10.00 metres;
(f) St. Andrew's Road, from its junction with Southbridge Road north-eastward for a distance of 10.00 metres;
(g) Southbridge Place, from its junction with Southbridge Road south-westward for a distance of 10.00 metres;
(h) Southbridge Road,
(1) the north-east side, for 10.00 metres either side of its junctions with St. Andrew's Road, Keens Road and Parker Road;
(2) the south-west side, for 10.00 metres either side of its junctions with Southbridge Place, Tanfield Road (both junctions), Brafferton Road, Bramley Hill and Dering Road (both junctions);
(i) Tanfield Road, from its junctions with Bramley Hill and Southbridge Road and its north-easternmost junction with Southbridge Road south-westward for a distance of 10.00 metres.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via the opposite footway. The work will be carried out on a rolling programme, the footways being closed alternately.
4. The Order will come into operation on 3 March 2008 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 weeks.
(Pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties.)
