County Hall in Kingston was the venue for an attempted murder trial last week as BBC camera crews rolled into town to film hit crime drama New Tricks.
The cast and crew, including Amanda Redman, James Bolam, Dennis Waterman and Alun Armstrong, spent a week on location at County Hall from February 4 filming episode two of the fifth series.
The show focuses on Superintendent Sandra Pullman, played by Redman and her team of grumpy, retired policemen who are back on the job reinvestigating open and unsolved cases.
A spokeswoman for New Tricks said: "We were filming the trial of Ricky Hanson, played by David Troughton, for the attempted murder of Jack Halford, played by James Bolam.
"All four leads were involved in the scenes and the filming went really well.
The episode will be shown on BBC One later in the year.
