The future of the District Line will be debated tomorrow as Tube bosses face questions about failed maintenance contractor Metronet.
Tim O'Toole, Underground managing director, will face the London Assembly to answer questions on progress moving Metronet out of administration.
He is expected to give answers about future line upgrades and station refurbishment.
Earlier this month the Government announced a £1.7billion bailout of the maintenance firm.
Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly said then that the Government was buying the firm's debt to allow Transport for London to takeover maintenance on the Underground including the District Line.
The meeting starts at 10am tomorrow at City Hall.
