A hairdresser accused of trying to stab a female client to death will face a retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict on an attempted murder charge earlier this month.
Louis Lennon, 31 of Westgate Road, South Norwood, was accused of stabbing the woman repeatedly in the chest on March 25, 2007, as she left her Streatham home.
Last week the Crown Prosecution Service decided Mr Lennon would face a retrial and he is expected to return to Inner London Crown Court in June.
