A Northern Line train driver has won permission to sue the Underground for a wrist injury.
Latona Allison blames a lack of training for causing tenosynovitis in her right wrist, a debilitating injury that stops her working as a driver.
Ms Allison said the she developed the injury after London Underground introduced a new safety brake design but did not give training on how to use it safely.
She began working on the Underground in 1996 and trained as a driver on the Northern Line before the injury was diagnosed in 2003.
Three judges from the Court of Appeal have ordered her case could return to court for an assessment of damages unless an agreement is reached before then.
An Underground spokesman said the Tube operator was disappointed by the decision.
