A Sutton man who jumped from the eighth floor of a block of flats has escaped with only a fractured pelvis and broken arm.
The 30-year-old sparked concern last week when he was seen to plummet from the eighth floor of Thackeray Manor flats in Manor Park Road.
It is believed his fall was broken by the entrance porch roof, causing him to fall to the side and into a plant bed.
After being airlifted to the Royal London Hospital it is believed he was transferred to a ward within hours of arriving.
