Firefighters have put out a loft blaze in Surbiton this afternoon.
Fire engines from New Malden and Surbiton fire stations were called to the fire at a three storey house in King Charles Road at 1.51pm.
The crews managed to get the fire under control by 2.13pm - but it had already damaged about 80 per cent of the third floor and 20 per cent of the roof.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade explained that everyone in the house had been accounted for.
