Croydon FC manager Dickson Gill has insisted he is not worried by his side's poor run of form, culminating in Saturday's 7-0 humiliation at home to Herne Bay.
That defeat was the Trams tenth game without a win, and their eighth defeat in a row, leaving them languishing in mid-table with no hope of promotion and safe from relegation.
But despite the poor results, Gill has no intention of pressing the panic button just yet.
He said: "I'm not too bothered about it and I don't think the players are.
"It's a bad run but we lost a lot of players who moved on and we are rebuilding now. The inconsistency of having a team that is not normally together causes these things to happen.
"I'm not worried about turning it around, I'm looking at as many players as possible. We can't go down and we are not going to win the league so I have been looking towards next season for a while now."
Gill was also critical of the referee after he reduced the Trams to ten men in the first quarter of an hour when Jack Walker was sent off for a dangerous tackle, despite pulling out of it.
"He decided it was a dangerous challenge, I saw it and it wasn't. The lad is only 17 and the guy jumped out of the way, he wasn't injured at all but the referee still deemed it foul play.
"He was a bad referee throughout, I never complain about referees but he was that bad. He even subbed himself before the end because he knew he was that bad.
"We had an off day though. Despite getting to half time and being only 1-0 down the players just ran out of steam after the break. I have signed quite a few new players and they are not match fit at the moment so they struggled in the second half."
The trams next game is away at Tunbridge Wells on Saturday.
