The actress who played Dame Edna Everage's long-suffering sidekick has died at Twickenham retirement home.
Emily Perry - who played Everage's silent bridesmaid Madge Allsop - died aged 100 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Devon-born actress had lived at Brinsworth House, a home for entertainers, since her retirement in 2004.
She had been 80 when she first took on the role of Madge appearing alongside Barry Humphries' flamboyant alter ego.
As well as appearing on Dame Edna's ITV shows she made a one-off appearance in the BBC comedy Last of The Summer Wine in 1995.
Before finding fame she had run a dancing school - The Patricia Perry Academy of Dancing - for 25 years.
Peter Elliott, the executive administrator for Brinsworth House, said: "She was a lovely lady, very cheerful. She was very happy here, and we were happy to have her here.
"Everybody knew her here because she had become very famous for saying nothing."
He added: "We wish her bon voyage to the great stage in the sky."
