An Oxshott drug dealer has been jailed for two years.
James Alexander Churchman pleaded guilty to possession of class A drugs with intent to supply at Kingston Crown Court.
The 24-year-old was arrested on August 31 last year in Cobham after an operation by Cobham and Oxshott Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Worried residents had raised concerns about Churchman with Neighbourhood Specialist Officer for Cobham and Oxshott PC Lee Fabry who investigated him for several months before serving a warrant to search his work premises.
Churchman's locker, vehicle and home were searched by PC Fabry who found a large amount of cash and cocaine.
PC Fabry said: "The length of this custodial sentence sends out a clear message that the supply of illegal class A drugs will not be tolerated within our communities.
"In this case Churchman was brought to justice as a result of neighbourhood policing and the vigilance of members of the community.
"Surrey Police is committed to targeting drug dealers and continued information from the public is vital in reducing the problem."
