A second man has been charged with murder and another has been arrested after police discovered a body in a Croydon street.
Police were called to Station Road in South Norwood in the early hours of Sunday, August 7.
A man, believed to be in his 40s, was found unresponsive.
London Ambulance Service also attended and the man was found dead at the scene.
Darren Parchment, 20, of Melrose Avenue, SW16 was charged with murder today and will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later in the day.
Agash Jeyanandam, of Stonecroft Way in Croydon, was charged with murder on August 9 and was remanded to reappear at the Old Bailey today.
A third man, 23, has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in custody.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives investigating the murder of a man following the discovery of a body in South Norwood have charged a second man.
“[B] Darren Parchment, 20 (16.02.02) of Melrose Avenue, SW16 was charged with murder on Friday, 12 August.
“He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later the same day.
“Previously, [A] Agash Jeyanandam, 23 (25.08.98), of Stonecroft Way, Croydon, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, 8 August and charged the following day.
“He appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 10 August and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 12 August.
“On Thursday, 11 August, detectives arrested a third man – aged 23 [C] – on suspicion of murder.
“He remains in custody at a south London police station.
“Police were called at 05:34hrs on Sunday, 7 August after concerns were raised for the wellbeing of a person who had been found unresponsive in Station Road.
“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and a man, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are in the process of informing the man’s family and formal identification awaits.
“Enquiries continue.
