The family of tragic teen Eugene Attram are planning a football match to mark what would have been his 18th birthday.
People of all ages are invited to take part or watch the game in Battersea Park on Saturday, March 1.
Eugene, who would have turned 18 on March 2, was stabbed to death in November 2006 in a gang brawl in Mitcham.
Mum Maureen Enynonam said: "Football was his passion, so this is a fitting tribute to him.
"It's open to anyone, even if they just want to join in for five minutes."
Members of Eugene's team, the Wandle Wanderers, will be among those taking part.
Players will wear specially made blue and white T-shirts featuring pictures of the Thornton Heath teenager, who was a huge Arsenal fan.
After the match there will be a picnic in the rose garden, where Eugene's family installed a memorial bench for him last year.
"The purpose of the day is enjoyment. His birthday would have been a happy occasion, so we want people to enjoy it even though Eugene's no longer here," Ms Enyonam added.
Known as Fruge, Eugene was studying for A-Levels in art, business and English at Ernest Bevin College in Tooting, and was hoping to go to university.
His birthday football match will kick off at 1.30pm near the children's adventure playground in Battersea Park, with teams to be formed on the day.
Two people have been charged with Eugene's murder, and are due to stand trial at the Old Bailey in June.
