WOODCOTE VALLEY ROAD, PURLEY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate drainage connection works for a new development at No.2 Woodcote Valley Road they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Woodcote Valley Road, Purley
2. Whilst the said works are taking place a:
(a) one-way working south-westbound will be introduced, in Woodcote Valley Road between its junctions with Furze Lane and Purley Knoll;
(b) the free parking bays on the north-west side of Woodcote Valley Road between Furze Lane and Purley Knoll will be suspended.
3. Whilst the said works are taking place the alternative routes for affected traffic will be via Purley Knoll, Brighton Road and Banstead Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 20 March 2008 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. (Vehicular access will be maintained via the posted diversion route.)
