An inquest has opened into the death of a man found hanging from a tree near Robin Hood Way, Kingston.
The body of Ian Spanton, 36, of Burdett Avenue, Copse Hill was discovered on Tuesday, February 19 at around 8am.
He was found hanging from a tree over a river near to Wibbandune Sports Club.
Police are treating the incident as an unexplained death and the inquest has been adjourned.
