More Crystal Palace youngsters may get their first taste of senior action before the end of season.
Manager Neil Warnock has already given first team debuts to John Bostock, then 15, Lee Hills, 17, Ryan Hall, 20, Victor Moses, 16, and 17 year-old Sean Scannell, but that list may grow longer before May.
He said: "I think there might be one or two others as well if I'm honest looking at the games in the last few weeks of the season.
"If we did drift into mid-table then yes I would definitely bring the youngsters straight in. A lot depends on the next two or three games. The situation we are in is not a situation for youngsters but if we did drift then we would have to bring the youngsters in to blood them and see how they cope."
Defender Moses Swaibu, 18, was an unused substitute against Watford in October and will be one player hoping to get his chance, as will 20 year-old winger Lewwis Spence, who started a game under Peter Taylor last season but has not figured under Warnock.
