Do you want to find out more about how the Heathrow expansion will affect your life? Wandsworth Council is holding its third and final public meeting about the issue on Tuesday, February 26 at Wandsworth Town Hall.
It follows two meetings in Battersea and Putney, one of which turned out to be the biggest public meeting in Wandsworth for 200 years, with more than 700 people showing up.
With the Department for Transport's public consultation on the expansion finishing on February 27, the clock is ticking for residents to get their voices heard on plans for a third runway.
Councillor Guy Senior, cabinet member for transport, said: "We've had so much support for our campaign that we just wanted to give residents one last chance to hear exactly what these 222,000 extra flights will mean for our borough.
"Many local people are horrified at the prospect of all day flights overhead. They know too that there is no certainty this expansion will not be the last."
He and chairman of Heathrow Association for the Control of Aircraft Noise John Stewart will be speaking at the meeting. It starts at 7.30pm at Wandsworth Town Hall on Tuesday, February 26.
