Police investigating the disappearance of an estate agent 22 years ago will study evidence given in the trial of prostitute killer Steve Wright, it has been reported.
Suzy Lamplugh, 25, from Mortlake, disappeared in 1986 while showing a house in Fulham to a client named "Mr Kipper".
Her body has never been found but she was officially declared dead in 1994. A man was arrested in 1989 but never charged.
Wright and Miss Lamplugh worked on the QE2 in the 1980s. Wright was a steward and Miss Lamplugh a beautician.
Wright was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in jail yesterday after being convicted of killing five prostitutes in Ipswich, Suffolk.
A Met spokesman said inquiries into Ms Lamplugh's case were ongoing but refused to discuss details.
A statement from Suzy Lamplugh's dad Paul said: "I am interested in the outcome of the Steve Wright case and I know the police will be making further inquiries and will keep me informed."
