Molesey's faint hopes of avoiding the drop took another knock on Saturday when they slumped to a 3-1 win at play-off hopefuls Worthing.
A defensive error from Phil Caughter allowed the hosts to take the lead, and despite Rob Wilkinson striking an equaliser, Molesey conceded two second-half goals to seal their fate.
The Moles, who are 14 points adrift at the bottom of Ryman Division One South, play host to play-off candidates Sittingbourne on Saturday.
