A man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted in broad daylight in Thornton Heath.
Ambulance crews were called to Brook Road just before 2.55pm on Monday.
A man was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital.
An ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and a clinical team manager were sent to the scene by the London Ambulance Service.
We have asked the Metropolitan Police for more information.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.53pm on Monday 29 August to reports of an assault on Brook Road, Thornton Heath.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and a clinical team manager to the scene.
“We treated a man at the scene and took them to hospital.”
